Peace in Our Time? Suffering, Solidarity, and the Promise of Interreligious Engagement by Azza Karam and Aaron Hollander

Professor Azza Karam, Secretary General of Religions for Peace, was interviewed by Dr. Aaron Hollander, Associate Editor of Ecumenical Trends for the July/August of Ecumenical Trends.

Ecumenical Trends is a bimonthly publication of the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement, a Roman Catholic religious order with a century-plus history of ecumenical and interfaith engagement. The journal combines reporting on current developments in ecumenical/interreligious affairs with accessible scholarship, pastoral reflection, and interviews on the dynamics of religious difference on common ground. Dr. Aaron Hollander, Associate Editor of Ecumenical Trends, has overseen an interview series since 2019 that brings together eminent figures in ecumenism, interreligious relations, and peace studies, affording the opportunity to collaboratively consider and push the envelope on urgent contemporary questions.
