Religions for Peace in CHINA Sends Note of Solidarity to Religions for Peace in ITALY

On 20 March 2020, RfP‘s interreligous committee (IRC) in China, the China Committee on Religion and Peace (CCRP) sent a message of solidarity and support to RfP‘s IRC in Italy: RfP Sezione Italiana.

A portion of the message reads:

For the past two months, China’s religious believers have been engaged in a vigorous effort to fight against the sudden outbreak of the disease by providing donations and voluntary service, showing the mercy and love inherent in all religions. Faced with this pandemic, the world is a community with a shared future.

We are closely following the situation in Italy and as well as other places in the world and we stand firmly with brothers and sisters of religions across the world.

As an old proverb says:

We believe that we will win this battle against the virus as long as we stay responsible, prudent, charitable and confident. We pray for overcoming of this pandemic and also for the recovery of normal life both in China and your country through our joint efforts.
