Sheldiana is a lawyer and mediator accredited by the Albanian National Chamber of Advocates and the National Mediation Chamber. She has completed numerous trainings in the field of jurisprudence and is a member of the Executive Board and Woman Board in the Inter Religious Council of Albania.
The field of expertise in inter-religious relations also extends to trainings, referrals and conferences held in the framework of the fight against radicalism and violent extremism in the legal framework and humanitarian aid for returned families. She was part of Religions for Peace humanitarian projects in “Shared well being” in cooperation with IRC Albania in 2019 – 2020 and the humanitarian project in economic and food for vulnerable people in local areas of Albania in the time of the Covid-19 pandemic.
She participated in 2019 as a representative of the women’s board of IRCA in the meeting held in Warsaw Poland organized by Religions for Peace-Europe, she also represented the Women’s Board of IRCA in the 10th Assembly of Religions for Peace held in Lindau Germany in 2019. She has contributed as part of the panel on Humanitarianism with the paper “Youth Engagement with Religion and Faith challenges and opportunities in Albania”, in the framework of the conference “Youth Engagement with Religion and Faith in the 21st Century” 28-29 July 2021, organized by Religions for Peace. She has trained youth in the field of anti trafficking of human beings in the framework of cooperation that IRCA has had with responsible state institutions the Interior Ministry.
She is part of the project “Leaving the past behind building resilience for the returnees from the war zones through support and education” to help in education and rehabilitate returnees from war zones, Syria, Iraq, etc., in the framework of the cooperation agreement that CVE Center has with IRCA.
She is currently State Attorney for free legal aid for the representation of vulnerable persons in court.
