She is responsible for the International Relations Department at The Halal Catering Argentina – Halal Certification. Currently she is fellow of the King Abdullah bin Abulaziz International Center For Interfaith & Intercultural Dialogue Latin America Cohort scholarship program.
She is the president of the Islam para la Paz institute since the beginning of 2021, becoming the first woman to lead an Islamic institution in the country. Recently, she signed a cooperation agreement with Victoria Donda, head of the National Institute Against Discrimination, Xenophobia and Racism (INADI), in which they committed to providing training on Islamic culture, myths, stereotypes and stigmatization towards Islam, Islamophobia and Arabophobia.
She founded the AFIFA organization to promote and carry out activities related to women in the Middle East and the Islamic World in which articles, congresses and seminars on this subject are held. She is the co-founder of the Diversity Network, a project that works on issues of conflict resolution with young people from the Abrahamic religions. She is also a co-founder of the Laboratory of Cultural, Religious and Ethnic Diversity of the Department of Human Rights of the Buenos Aires Legislature.
She is a member of Religions for Peace-Latin America and the Caribbean Youth Network and member of the Permanent Commission for the Advancement of Gender Equality.
Melody is also an Ambassador for Jobs For Lebanon, a platform for Lebanese talent seeking economic opportunities.
As a result of the 2022 Men’s Soccer World Cup, she created #Qatarizate2022, an invitation to get to know the culture of Qatar and demystify prejudices about Arab and Islamic culture.
Melody actively participates in international conferences that address the topics: Youth, Interreligious Dialogue, Gender Equality, Islam, Islamic Arab Business Protocol and Halal certification.
