During the first three years of the Syrian War, she covered stories related to the life of religious communities in Aleppo, Damascus, and other cities, inspiring several initiatives to promote peace, fundraising campaigns, and conventions. The same happened due to her reporting on the role of faith-based organisations at the borders of Italy, Malta, and Texas. She has traveled to several countries for in-depth reporting on migration, poverty, social development, religious and social projects, and youth initiatives.
Empowering social and human development, legality, peacebuilding, and intercultural and interreligious unity is her passion inspired by Chiara Lubich, the founder of the Focolare Movement and a champion of promoting unity and fraternity among people of different social backgrounds, religions, and cultures. She has been serving the Focolare Movement as a consultant for several projects related to youth and community leaders.
She holds a Master’s degree in Journalism and another in Philosophy, and a B.A. in Communications and Public Relations. She represents the Foccolare on the Multi-Faith Advisory Council of the UN Interagency Task Force on Religion and representative for New Humanity NGO.
