With heartfelt sorrow for the victims and their families, Religions for Peace condemns the hideous act of terror that has killed 49 Muslim believers in Christchurch, New Zealand.
The terror attack in New Zealand was designed to kill the innocent, attack Islam and sow fear among diverse communities.
We therefore also extend our heartfelt solidarity to Muslim communities around the world.
As we grieve the loss of the innocent and the attack on Islam, we urge all religious believers to unite in active solidarity in the rejection of terrorism.
